What’s in the boxes, anyway?
When I was shopping for stackable toolbox options, I struggled a bit with picturing exactly how things would fit into the boxes. I am not the best at spatial estimates.
This post gives a breakdown of what I currently have in the boxes and how it’s organized, in case it’s helpful for someone else trying to picture how these boxes can be used.
This is how we stack it
Like many riders, I purchased a rolling toolbox years ago to use as a cheaper, lighter tack trunk. My Stanley trunk has served me well for over a decade and, while it’s showing its age now, remains fully functional.
However, I decided to also invest in a set of stacking toolboxes to use as an alternate tack box. For me, these are more functional and, in most cases, more versatile than a traditional tack trunk design.

Building a first aid/medical kit from scratch
When you have nothing but time to overthink your first aid kit, what do you put in it, anyway?
Is that a grooming kit or a mini tack store?
